Any bottle(s) held in your BAXUS account and wallet always belong to you, even while in the BAXUS vault facility. In the unlikely event that anything should happen to BAXUS, your tokens serve as your proof of ownership. You can claim your bottles for redemption at any time.

All assets are securely stored in one of our highly secured, temperature and humidity controlled, fire-resistant vaults. All contents in the BAXUS vaults are insured by Lloyd's of London to provide peace of mind for your entire collection.

Are my bottles insured in the vault?

Once they arrive in the BAXUS Vault, all bottles are 100% insured at the current market value by Lloyd's of London to provide peace of mind for your entire collection.

Can I submit my bottles to the BAXUS Vault from anywhere in the world?

Rest assured, we are actively working towards establishing new vaults in international locations to facilitate easier submissions and transactions from various regions. Stay tuned for exciting updates on our expansion plans and the availability of new vaults in international footprints. In the meantime, feel free to submit your bottles to our U.S. based BAXUS Vaults, and thank you for your patience and support as we continue to grow and evolve to better serve the global spirits community.

How can I be sure that my personal Information is secure?

The BAXUS team does not store any of your personal information other than what you provide in your profile. We only use highly reputable third-party services for any personal information processing, such as credit card payments.

Payment & Fees

What fees does BAXUS charge?

Once you have a collection in our vault, storage and insurance is free for your first 2 years. We charge a one-time fee of $20 per asset for authentication, scanning, and NFT minting. When you sell on BAXUS, we charge a 10% sellers fee with no buyer's premium. Shipping fees and duties are charged only upon redemption.

What payment methods does BAXUS accept?

We partner with Coinflow for secure payment processing, meaning users can pay with credit card, debit card, Google Pay, or Apple Pay. Users can also pay with crypto through Helio and save 4% or more on processing fees.

How much is the buyer's fee?

BAXUS charges ZERO buyer's fees. The only associated fee with utilizing the BAXUS mareketplace is the 10% seller's fee which is automatically included in the transaction.

Why are all assets listed in USD?

This is to have one standard currency across all bottles and ensure that prices are not impacted by the fluctuation of different currencies. We intend to add support for additional currencies in the future.

How do I withdraw my money?

We use Coinflow to securely offramp your USDC into your connected bank account as USD. To connect your bank account and offramp at your desire, go to your Profile in the top right > Profile details > Billing details. The USD will show up in your bank account within 3-5 business days, or for a 50 cent charge, within 1 business day.

Will I receive any monthly statements or end of year tax documents?

BAXUS will not provide monthly tax statements or end-of-year tax documents. It is the user's (your) responsibility to comply with your local tax laws and seek professional advice if needed. We encourage you to maintain accurate records and consult with a tax professional for any tax-related matters or questions.

Do you buy the bottles from me?

We help you list your bottles on our Marketplace for sale to collectors all over the world. Until the bottle is sold to another user it will always belong to you and be viewable in your Dashboard.

How do I list my bottles on BAXUS?

If you are interested in having your assets submitted for authentication, storage, and marketplace listing on BAXUS, please fill out the form here. Once you complete the Bottle Submission Form, our team will reach out and guide you through the process.

What is the authentication process?

Our team of seasoned spirits authentication specialists inspects each asset to verify its contents and integrity. Only authenticated assets are listed on BAXUS, ensuring the highest quality and confidence for our customers.

How do I know it’s safe to buy assets on BAXUS?

We are committed to making the buying and selling of assets with us as transparent as possible. Everything we see, you see. All the information we have on an asset is made available to all of our members, even those who don’t purchase through BAXUS.

Who owns the bottles?

You maintain full ownership of the bottle and digital NFT representation of it until it is sold to another user. Once you list your bottle and it has been sold, the ownership of the digital NFT as well as the physical bottle will belongs to the new owner.

Redemption

What does redemption mean?

Bottle redemption means to request a bottle to be physically shipped to you. The requested bottle in your account will be removed from the platform - the associated NFT is voided, so it can no longer be traded. The bottles are either shipped or made available for pickup based on the owner's desired method of redemption. Please email info@baxus.co for more information.

How do I redeem my bottle(s)?

You can request any of the bottles in your account to be shipped to you at any time. To redeem 1 or more bottles, you just need to click on the menu button to the right of any bottle under "My Collection" in your dashboard and click "Redeem Bottle." You are also able to redeem bottles during the checkout process on any new bottle purchases. Shipping regulations may apply.

Are there any costs associated with redeeming a bottle?

Shipping & handling fees start at $29.99 for bottles that are redeemed and shipped within the United States. It is also recommended that owners purchase optional shipping insurance (which is typically 2% of the value of the assets).

Are my bottles insured when I ship them?

The bottle owner is responsible for covering any associated shipping insurance - it will be an option offered during checkout. Insurance is optional but highly recommend (typically 2% of the value of the assets).
